The basic wind characteristics of idealized hurricanes of different intensity levels

In the current study, we conducted four idealized hurricane simulation cases to investigate basic wind characteristics of hurricanes at different sea surface temperatures. First, relationship minimum pressure and maximum time-averaged speed shows good agreement with observational data theoretical considerations. Then, tangential, radial, vertical field are analyzed, both value height tangential increase increasing temperature. The peak radial inflow also temperature increases. An important feature is for depth layer, which always increases weak beginning then decreases intense locates from eye three times radius wind, this can be seen in observation data. More importantly, first study that found it begins becomes steady medium-strength hurricanes. Furthermore, extreme updrafts hurricanes, while not between data, related coherent subkilometer-scale vortices. Also, average angle ?22.1°, similar ?22.6° ± 2.2° ?23° obtained other studies, distribution displays previous studies. velocity shape a tilted infinity symbol. Finally, by analyzing fluctuating characteristics, 200 m grid size sufficient except hurricane, requires 62 turbulence structures. From mean results intensity levels converged 185 size.
